BUILT FOR EVERYDAY OPERATIONS

Resources chosen around your workload

KVM virtualisation

Run your application in a virtual machine environment. Compare the vCPU, memory and storage included in each plan.

Weekly offsite backups

An additional recovery option for your server. Maintain and test your own backups for business-critical data.

IPv6 support

Plan for IPv6 connectivity and verify your firewall rules and application listeners after deployment.

High-clock compute. Backups included.

Run dynamic sites and application workloads on high-clock CPUs, with automated weekly offsite backups included in your plan. A practical foundation for both everyday compute and recovery planning.

Australia / Use cases

Booking systems and customer portals

Plan memory for your application runtime and database together. Include attachment uploads and scheduled notifications in capacity estimates.

Put your users at the centre of your location choice

Sydney is a candidate for services with users in both Australia and New Zealand, including customer portals and regional APIs. It is worth comparing when your current server is on another continent. Check both countries separately, since New Zealand carriers do not all take the same route to Sydney.

A clear path from workload to configuration

01

Size the workload

Budget for your application runtime, database, logs and expected growth rather than choosing by CPU count alone.

02

Check transfer and billing

Bandwidth is a connection rate, not an unlimited transfer allowance. Review both alongside your billing term.

03

Deploy after checkout

Choose an OS, review the order and complete payment. Track provisioning in your LuckVM account.

Will Sydney suit users in New Zealand too?

Sydney is a candidate for services with users in both Australia and New Zealand, including customer portals and regional APIs. It is worth comparing when your current server is on another continent. Check both countries separately, since New Zealand carriers do not all take the same route to Sydney.

Which operating systems can I install?

Choose from Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Fedora and SUSE, plus Windows Server and lightweight Windows 10 / 11 images. Windows needs an eligible plan: the current entry tier has 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD storage. Smaller plans cannot select Windows because of resource limitations. Check the OS selector for the versions available with your chosen plan.

Where can I check prices and billing terms?

Click View plans and pricing, then select a plan and billing term to see the total due. Monthly, quarterly, six-month and annual terms are shown where available, with applicable discounts reflected in the order summary. For an existing server, open its management page in your account and choose renewal to review the available terms and renewal quote before paying.

Are offsite backups included in the plan?

Yes. Automated weekly offsite backups are included at no extra charge. Each backup captures data at a point in time; changes made afterwards are not continuously replicated. For frequently updated orders or databases, add daily or more frequent application backups to reduce the amount of recent data at risk during recovery.

Can I upgrade or reset my transfer allowance later?

Yes. Where self-service upgrades are enabled, your server management page lists larger in-stock plans in the same location that support your current billing term. Review the quote and pay, then shut down and power on the server after the upgrade to apply its new resources. A paid traffic reset clears usage for the current allocation; it does not permanently increase your monthly transfer allowance.
